Who can join MadFun Adventures trips?

Anyone who loves travel, adventure, and meeting new people can join. Most of our travellers are between 18 and 38 years old.

Can I join if I am travelling solo?

Yes. Many of our travellers join solo and end up making great friends during the trip.

Are your trips safe for women?

Yes. We ensure respectful group environments, responsible trip leaders, and carefully chosen stays to make every traveller feel safe and comfortable.

Welcome to Madfun Adventures!

By visiting www.madfun.in, booking a trip, or participating in our expeditions, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions. These rules ensure that our operations run smoothly and that everyone has a safe, respectful, and unforgettable adventure.

1. Booking, Pricing, and Payments

Group Caps: We limit our group size to a maximum of 12 Travellers per trip to maintain the quality of our experiences.
Booking Confirmation: A spot on any trip is strictly confirmed only upon the receipt of the booking amount (advance payment) of ₹10,000.
Final Payment: The balance amount of the total trip cost is due 15 days before the trip start date. Failure to clear the balance on time may lead to the forfeiture of your spot.
Taxes: The cost is inclusive of 5% of GST. Our business adheres strictly to monthly GST filing compliance, ensuring transparent and legal tax practices for every booking.
Price Adjustments and Surcharges: Prices listed on our website are based on current costs and exchange rates. Madfun Adventures reserves the right to adjust tour prices to account for unexpected fluctuations in fuel costs, local government taxes, or permit fees. We will absorb any increase up to 2% of the total tour cost. If the surcharge exceeds 2%, the traveler will be notified and billed for the difference.

2. Health, Safety, and Medical Limits

Pre-existing Conditions: Any pre existing medical condition has to be brought to our notice before joining.
Acclimatization: Every traveller must follow the guidelines for acclimatization as instructed by the trip leaders.
Medical Support: We will be carrying a generic medical kit with essential medicines for Altitude Discomfort, headaches, fever, nausea, allergies, and minor scratches. Oxygen Cylinders will be made available as and when needed in case of emergencies.
Personal Medication: In remote areas, medical assistance may be limited. Prescription meds have to be carried by you at all times.

3. Mandatory Travel Insurance & Documentation

Travel and Medical Insurance: Due to the inherent risks of adventure travel and high-altitude expeditions, comprehensive travel insurance is mandatory for all travelers. Your policy must cover personal injury, medical expenses, emergency helicopter evacuation, and repatriation. We also strongly recommend coverage for trip cancellation, curtailment, and loss of luggage. Madfun Adventures assumes no liability for medical costs or emergency evacuation fees incurred by the traveler.
Travel Documentation: You will have to carry a Photo-ID on you at all times. It is the sole responsibility of the traveler to ensure they possess all required travel documents, including valid government-issued ID, passports (valid for at least 6 months beyond the travel date for international routes), visas, and required health certificates. Madfun Adventures is not responsible if a traveler is denied entry due to missing or incorrect documentation.

4. Code of Conduct & Sustainability

Inclusivity: We maintain a strictly inclusive environment with a zero-tolerance policy, making it a secure and welcoming space for solo female travelers, families, and diverse groups of explorers. Harassment or disruptive behavior will lead to immediate removal from the trip without a refund.
Eco-Conscious Travel: We are deeply dedicated to protecting the pristine environments we explore. Join us in our sustainable travel mission by strictly avoiding single-use plastics, leaving absolutely no trace behind, and respecting the delicate local ecosystems and communities we visit.

5. Itinerary Adjustments, Force Majeure, and Third Parties

Natural Incidents: We are not responsible for additional Costs incurred due to flight cancellations, permit delays, roadblocks, or other natural incidents.
Route Changes: We are a community oriented experience provider, we do listen to the community in case there needs to be any minor changes in the itinerary during the trip. However, our experienced trip leaders reserve the right to dynamically alter routes for the safety of the group.
Third-Party Services: Madfun Adventures often acts as an agent or utilizes the services of independent contractors, such as local transport operators, hotels, and specialized local guides. Madfun Adventures cannot be held liable for any negligence, default, delay, or breach of contract by any third-party supplier.

6. Media, Intellectual Property, and Privacy

Content Creation: We'll take stunning photos of you, turning your adventures into cherished memories. We reserve the right to use these images and videos for our website, promotional materials, and social media. If you wish to opt-out of public marketing, please inform us privately before the trip begins.
Intellectual Property: All content on www.madfun.in, including but not limited to text, itineraries, graphics, logos, images, audio clips, and software, is the property of Madfun Adventures and is protected by applicable copyright and trademark laws. You may not extract, reproduce, or distribute any part of our website or itineraries for commercial purposes without our express written consent.
Data Privacy: Your use of our website and booking services is also governed by our Privacy Policy. By agreeing to these Terms and Conditions, you also consent to the collection, use, and processing of your personal data as outlined in our Privacy Policy.

7. Dispute Resolution and Governing Law

Dispute Resolution: In the event of any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms and Conditions or your trip, the parties shall first attempt to resolve the matter amicably through good-faith negotiation. If the dispute cannot be resolved within 30 days, it shall be settled by binding arbitration in Mumbai, India, in accordance with the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996.
Governing Law: These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes or legal proceedings arising from these terms or your trip will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Mumbai, India.
Amendments to Terms: Madfun Adventures reserves the right to update or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice. The updated terms will be effective immediately upon posting on www.madfun.in. Continued use of our website or services following any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new terms.
